MysteryScience.com (K-5 Resource)

MysteryScience.com is free for teachers to use this school year. The site has dozens of lessons and mini-lessons for each grade level. Every lesson has a video narrated by Doug. Doug loves science and uses photos and video to present a science mystery. Mystery Science videos pause for discussion opportunities. Lessons guide students through hands-on activities. The lessons are “open and go” as long as the teacher has the supplies ready. Mini-lessons do not require any supplies since they are answered without a hands-on activity.

Google Classroom - Comment Bank

When you open a students work document from Google Classroom it opens in the Feedback tool. On the right hand side of the Feedback tool notice the option for “Comment bank.” You can create a list of frequently provided feedback comments.

To insert the comments from the Comment bank, start a comment within the document (not a Private Comment) and add a HASHTAG to your comment to prompt a drop-down menu of choices from the Comment bank.

Instagram Template for Google Slides

TeachingTechNix created a brand new template to match the newest version of Instagram.  She has included the template for an Instagram post, as well as two different templates for an Instagram profile page.  There are 6 different slide layouts for you.  A blank one each of the post and both profiles and then also one of each with instructions on the sides.  Like this:
